FAQ
What is PDRN?
PDRN stands for polydeoxyribonucleotide — a fragment of DNA, most commonly derived from salmon. It has been used in Korean aesthetic skincare for years and has moved into everyday skincare products over the past two years. It is currently one of the fastest-growing ingredients in K-beauty.
Is this product vegan?
No. PDRN is salmon-derived, so the balm stick is not vegan and is not suitable for anyone with a fish allergy.
Where exactly do I use it?
Under-eyes, neck, forehead and smile lines — anywhere the skin feels dry or looks creased. It is designed for targeted areas rather than all-over application.
How do I use it?
Cleanse and pat skin dry. Twist up a few millimetres and swipe directly onto the area, then press in gently with fingertips until absorbed. Use morning and night, and follow with SPF in the morning.
Can I use it alongside the rest of my routine?
Yes. Apply it after any water-based serum and before sunscreen. It can be used over or under makeup.
Is there anything I should know before first use?
The product is for external use only — avoid direct contact with the eyes. We recommend a patch test before first use, as with any new skincare product, and discontinuing use if irritation occurs.
